The focus for Barmate Aluminium was clearly set on compatibility and stability.
Even the widest direct-mount stems known to us pose no problem for the Barmate Aluminium's 85 mm clamping width.
Thanks to the careful selection of high-quality materials and a sophisticated heat-treatment process, the Barmate Aluminium meets the safety reserves certified by the German testing institute EFBE – at an impressive weight of only 325 g.

Developed for demanding riders looking for a strong aluminium handlebar for the toughest trails in the world.
Of course, all of our handlebars are compatible with our BikeYoke Barkeeper stem.
There are two finishes to choose from.
Black on Black
The finished, butted and shaped handlebar is first brushed by hand. The logos and markings are then laser-engraved onto the bare surface. Only then is the entire handlebar anodised in black. This creates an elegant yet subtle finish.
Silver / Black
The finished, butted and shaped handlebar is first brushed by hand and then anodised in silver. It is subsequently masked on one side and anodised in black on the other. Only then are the logos and markings applied by laser engraving. The result is an unmistakable, eye-catching silver/black finish.

STACK & REACH
Für die Lenkergeometrie verzichten wir auf die Angabe des „Rise“ und führen den aussagekräftigeren „Stack“ als Referenzmaß für die Lenkerhöhe ein.
Darüber hinaus geben wir einen „Reach“ Wert an, der darüber Auskunft gibt, um wieviel der Lenker die Hände nach hinten versetzt und somit die effektive Vorbaulänge beeinflusst.
Alle Lenker haben diesen Reach, doch wird er meist nicht angegeben.
Beide Werte beziehen sich auf die Neutral-, bzw. Konstruktionsausrichtung des Lenkers.
Ziel ist es, Lenker unterschiedlicher Marken direkt vergleichbar und Änderungen am Cockpit nachvollziehbarer zu machen.
